new things on my wardrobe

New post. finally.
Although I've finished exams, this week has been quite busy working, partying, watching Avatar in 3D, going to sales...Yesterday i went on shopping and apart from wonderful sales the only thing I got was my purse stolen...what a pity for the burglar that there was only 5 euros and my identity card...Anyway, I wish him/her a huge pain in their stomach because know I have to make a new one and it will take days and days grrr.
After my rant, a few shots with things that I bought, Im in love with the blazer, I bought a bigger size because I wanted a more "male" touch and those ballerinas are so cute :D



Nuevo post. por fin.
Aunque haya terminado los exámenes, esta semana ha sido bastante movida con el curro, saliendo de fiesta, viendo Avatar en 3D, de rebajas...Ayer fui de compras y aparte de buenas gangas conseguí que me robaran el monedero...que pena para el hijo de p**a del ladron cuando vea que solo habia 5€ y el dni...Pero aun así, ojala le atropelle un coche porque lo que mas me cabrea es la cola que voy a tener que esperar para renovarlo grrr.
Tras desahogarme, unas fotos de las cositas que me compre. Me encanta el blazer, me lo compre una talla mas grande para darle un toque más masculino y estoy como loca con las bailarinas.

Alison Mosshart

Who doesn't love her? She's one of my fave artist ever. I discover her a while ago with The Kills and since moment one, I felt in love with her voice and the music she and Jamie Hince produce. Also you should check her out in the new project she started with Jack White (The White Stripes, The Raconteurs) called The Dead Weather, it's more rockabilly but I'm also devoted to them :) Then the romance with her style started. Always so rock'n'roll, so creative, mixing patterns non-sense but always wonderful.

I had the pleasure to see The Kills live 2 years ago and it was a blast.

fin de examenes!!! (+topshop lingerie)

Por fin!!!! Se acabaron los odiados exámenes! Han durado menos de un mes pero que felicidad poder hacer cositas sin pensar en ellos, aún tengo que entregar un trabajo el miercoles de Macroeconomia Superior (siii, suena horrible) Hoy he recibido un sobrecito de Top Shop con unas braguitas moniiiisimas que encargué. También encargué el sujetador a juego pero al final no les quedaba, asi que mi gozo en un pozo :S pero son geniales :) Aqui os dejo unas fotitos.

Finally I've finished my exams! they lasted less than a month but it was relieving to end them. Today Ive receibed a beautiful brief from Topshop. Hope you like it!

Hablando de otras cosas, Lorena de http://loufits.blogspot.com/ me ha nominado a este premio: Irresistible Blog. Si no la conoceis, mirar su blog YA! Aparte de ser un encanto de mujer, adicta a los chicles y futura locutora de radio tiene un estilo impresionante (cuando a cabes los examenes nos tenemos que ir de compras!) Muchas gracias preciosa.

El premio consiste en hablar de 3 cosas que te resulten irresistibles.

1ª) La música: no se que haría si no hubiera música. Estoy todo el día con ella puesta, hasta para estudiar. Escucho de todo aunque mi debilidad siempre irá al metal extremo y si es de finlandia mejor :D Aunque tambien escucho mucho indie, no os vayais a asustar, pero la mayoría internacional.

2ª) El manga: si, soy friki y orgullosa :D Quién no ha visto alguna vez La Familia Crece?? Pues tras eso me dió por coleccionar manga (los comics para los profanos) Leo mucho y el manga es otra cosa más a añadir

3ª) Asturias: la verdad es que no sabía que poner en estas 3 cositas y me dejo mucho fuera pero Asturias es sin duda mi sitio favorito de toda España. Soy de Madrid pero sin tuviera que elegir otra ciudad para vivir, seguro que estaría en Asturias. La gente, la comida, los paisajes, la naturaleza, la tranquilidad, la playa, el aire puro...siempre que puedo voy y no me canso :)

a day outside: shoulder pads :D

After a week almost without going out, today I went to our village in Segovia. It's been ages without visiting it and I missed it a lot. Our house was really really cold but it was fun to take care of the garden and enjoy the bit of sun we had today.

As you may have imagined, to be gardener you cannot wear heels xD so I opted for my beloved All Star in black (i cannot live without 'em) and for a pair of trousers that have been hidden in my closet for way too long. I bought them in Mango with a matching jacket 4 years ago (yaaay, I still fit in them lol) for a wedding. They're longer because I used them with heels but since I'm not a person who wears a lot of heels (i think im quite tall) I made them shorter to use it with flats. The tee is from Zara and it's really really cheap (only 8 euros - aprox 10$) and I also have it in blue. The jacket is also from Mango and it was a xmas present. The beanie its also from Mango (almost all my closet is from there...)

Today I bought some kind of shoes organizer that Im showing in the last pic. Its really useful for ballerinas, flats, victorias and vans. and just for 4 euros. I loooooove bargains :D

These days I've been quite stressed with exams but finally on monday I'll be free ^-^
As these weeks has been studying studying and more studying, I havent went out a lot so I was basically in my pijamas but since here it's really warm, I wore these kind of clothes all the day :)

Obsessions: films pt.1

yesterday was about books, and today it's about films...but not random ones, indie ones. Im the kind of person that rarely goes to the cinema to see the huge famous movies. I tend to avoid them and see films in original version and specially indie ones.


If you live in Madrid, I highly recommend you to go to Plaza España and take a peek into the several cinemas you could find there.

Obsessions: Books Pt.1

A long time ago I opened a fotolog account (which is quite dead at the moment) called Obsessions. After a few posts showing my clothes, my lingerie and my dresses, I decided to do sth different. So I will start posting about what I like...my obsessions :D


Today: books.

I'm obsessed with reading. Since 2 I have developed some kind of huge adicction to read. I'm not the kind of person who reads just an only genre, but it's true that I love everything related to mistery and darkness. These books are the ones everybody should have in their bookshelves.



Dracula by Bram Stoker

The first "adult" book I read.I think I was 8 or 9 when it arrived at my hands and it's been one of my fave books since then. The way it's written (like diaries) was something really new to me and made me "connect" much more with the characters. The prologue was quite scary though but when I was a bit older I enjoyed it much more :D. And believe me, it's better than every "dracula" movie you've seen (well, except of Nosferatu by Murnau but I dont know a lot of people who have seen it...). So stop reading Twilight and that sort of vampire-teen-love stories lol




The Portrait of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde

Another one who thrilled me so much when I read it. I suposse that everyone knows how it ends but if you havent sorry to spoil it lol.I was a bit sorry about Gray at the end but I suppose being so narcissistic and self-centered has a prize...I wouldnt have mind being in his pants for a while though. I still have to see the Ben Barnes and Colin Firth film...




American Pshycho by Breat Easton Ellis

Ok, a confession, Im a fan of bloody movies and this is the best next thing :D While the movie was a bit dissapointing (really soft in my opinion but with a wonderful Christian Bale in the role of Patrick Bateman) the book is absolutely gore and so descriptive that you can even feel the pain (i may have a problem...ahem) anyway, if you cannot stand that switch to "Less Than Zero" another great novel by Easton Ellis which is about young yuppies in the search for the easy living.




Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov

What can I say? just read it. And dont feel guilty if you feel sorry for Humbert Humbert, he was a poor child too :)




Hollywood by Charles Bukowsky

Bukowsky...he had that touch to make entertaining and easy novels with some sort of dark background. this one is hilarious and talks about the whole industry of cinema and how hard making a movie could be




El señor de las tinieblas by Alberto Vazquez Figueroa

I dont know if this was translated into english but it was really great. It's the story of a doctor who wants to find the cure for cancer and it's willing to sell his soul to do it, literally. I really really enjoyed it, and cried a lot too :)




Ligeia by Edgar Allan Poe

Yep, that's the reason of my nickname. I read a long time ago but it has been my fave tale from him since then. Maybe because I felt identified...I dont know. Anyways, anything by Poe is woth reading so take a peek, you wont regret it.



And here I am reading one of the different versions I read from Poe's tales (it changes from translator to translator, yes I'm a freak lol) in my old room, and npe, I dont have a clue from where I got that pj and the socks were 0'5€ in El Rastro :DDD




I would be days writing about my fave books but for today its enough. I dont wanna bore you that much. Which are your fave ones??

Este es un outfit muy sencillito que llevé el otro dia para visitar a mi abuelo. Es muuuuy simple pero el toque de leopardo le da un nosequequeseyo que me encanta hehehe. No lleve el gorrito pero para salir de noche es genial. Por cierto, el jersey me lo compre en la sección de hombres de El Corte Inglés. Me encantó y como estaba de rebajas, me compre dos jajaja.

Hi again!

After the giveaway post, Im uploading some new shots I took yesterday. Just to show you two of my xmas presents: a plaid shirt and the first album by 30 seconds to Mars (i also got the second one ^-^; i love original cds!).
